Pam Desjardins has been in the estate planning and financial services business since 1973. Her office is located in Granby, Massachusetts. After working for many years with the then Connecticut General (now CIGNA) she founded the firm of Strategic Planning Associates, a company dedicated to educating and assisting clients in the protection, management and transfer of their wealth. Her main goal at that time was to extend the benefits of estate and financial planning process to a broader base of clients.

Pam received a Bachelor of Arts from American International College and went on to do graduate work at Southern Connecticut State College. Over the years she has continued her education in the Chartered Life Underwriters Program at the American College at Bryn Mawr and the Certified Financial Planners Program at the Denver School of Financial Planning. She has attended Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business where she completed the Executive Level Program at the Institute for Not-for-Profit Management. In 2003 she received Certification as a Senior Advisor from the Society of Senior Advisors. Pam continues her education currently with the American College for a designation as a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living. Over the years she has been an advocate for senior issues particularly as applies to education in senior issues and senior housing.
