James “Jamie” Farrell, born in Buffalo, NY, grew up on Grand Island, NY.
After high school, he spent four years active duty in the US Army as a sergeant
in the Medical Corps. Years later, after completing graduate seminary work, he
served again in the US Army Chaplain Corps.
After his initial enlistment, he toured, studied and lived in Europe, settling in
Spain, where he worked with mission groups in church planting and leadership
training. While there, Jamie completed a double major at the University of
Maryland, College Park, in Business Management and Spanish. He later
completed graduate studies (MDiv) to support his mission/pastoral work in
Jamie has lived in the Charlotte area for over 20 years and worked in
financial services since 2000. He is married to Luisa and is the father of two
adult daughters, Mireia and Amanda. Jamie is awaiting his first grandchild,
Phoebe, in the Spring of 2018! Jamie and Luisa are active in their church and
community. They feed, clothe and befriend Charlotte’s homeless
(www.meetmeatthebridge.com) and each have a “buddy” at a local elementary
school, where 99% of the population is below poverty level.
Jamie specializes in life and retirement planning. The strategies Jamie offers
include the safest, strongest and smartest way to store, grow and access money
in a tax-favored way. His work leaves his clients prepared and protected whether
they die too soon, live too long or become sick along the way.
